Mrs. Frank Zipperer Sr. 77, of Cato, died Friday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient 10 days.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Reedsville Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev. John Husslein will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Zipperer, nee Julia Grall, was born June 19, 1874, in the Town of Cato. She was married Nov. 19, 1892, to Frank Zipperer and for a time they resided on a farm in Cato before moving to the family farm in Manitowoc Rapids. Mr. Zipperer died there in 1938.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank Reiderer and Mrs. Edward Burich of Rt. 2, Reedsville; eight sons, Frank and Louis of Whitelaw, Albert, George and Clemens of Manitowoc, Joseph of Elkhart Lake and Richard and Wilbur on the home farm, a sister, Mrs. Wolfgang Meyer of Whitelaw; 34 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren.

The deceased was a member of the Christian Mother's Society of the church. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where the body will lie in state from Sunday afternoon until the time of services Tuesday.
