Raymond Frederick Diersing was born February 17 1913 in Ottertail Minnesota. Ray was the 2nd child and oldest Son of Henry and Helen Diersing.

February 16 1917 the day before Ray's 4th birthday his future wife Evelyn May Stone was born in Akron Ohio. Evelyn was the 3rd of 14 children of Harry and Margaret Stone.

In 1932 Ray graduated from Twinsburg School. He played Football, Basketball, and was in the Glee Club. In 1936 he married Evelyn Stone. They had 4 children.

Comments by Patricia Stone-TeStruth (Sister In-Law): Ray was the nicest man I have ever known. I will always remember the day he took your brother Ray and me (I was about 10) on a huge boat to Cedar Point for the day. It was such a great, fun day for all of us. He was also a very handsome man!
