Dolores B. Adams passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side on Monday June 16, 2008 at the Assisted Living Facility of the Forum, Deerfield Beach, FL. Dolores was born on Oct 2, 1927 in Chicago, IL to the late William and Lillian (Wisnewski) Koepke. She received her grade and high school education in Chicago and held various and interesting jobs in the business world. While working for the Olson Transportation Company in Chicago, she met and later married, Claire B. Adams, and relocated to Green Bay, Wisconsin, in 1953. From 1953 to 1956, Dolores worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for the Green Bay Packer Corporation. After the arrival of her children, she worked, and volunteered for many years at St. Philip School and Church. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society, and was involved for many years with the Seton Quilting Club. Dolores is survived by her husband of 54 years, Claire, whom she married on Sept 5, 1953 at St. Roman Catholic Church in Chicago, her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Kathy (Vincent) Adams, one grandson and one granddaughter, Kyle and Alyssa Adams all of Green Bay and daughter Carla, of Delray Beach, FL She is further survived by one sister Yvonne Koepke, Mt. Prospect, IL, two brother´s-in-law Carl (Dorothy) Adams Bancroft, WI; Merle (Gerri) Adams, Lake Pickeral, WI and many friends in Green Bay and Deerfield Beach. Preceded in death by one sister, Geraldine Urbanek, and one sister-in-law, Norma (Pete) Christensen. Visitation will be at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason Street on Friday June 20, 2008, from 3 pm until about 6:30 pm when the procession will leave for church. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday June 20, 2008 at 7 pm at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street with the Rev. Walter Stumpf officiating. Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be sent to Dolores´ family at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Vitas Hospice, team 145 and The Forum, Assisted Living Facility in Deerfield Beach Florida. Also a very special thank you to Dolores´ daughter Carla Adams. The care you gave mom over the last few years was exceptional.
