Ruth M. Quade Deppe, 101, Lake Mills, died peacefully on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Lilac Springs. She was born on March 18, 1922 in Waterloo, WI, daughter of the late Reinhart and Marie (Christofferson) Quade.
In 1940 she graduated from Waterloo High School and later attended UW Stevens Point. Ruth married John Warren Deppe on September 9, 1940. They were married for 42 years until he died on June 24, 1984.
She was an active member of the Lake Mills United Methodist Church and its Ladies Aide, volunteer for Meals on Wheels and its Nutrition Site and was a member of the Lake Mills American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Kane.
Private Family burial will be in Washington Cemetery, Town of Portland.
