Ruth, 76, died at 3:39 a.m., at Van Crest Health Care Center.
She was a daughter to Andrew and Mayme (Fuerst) Ellerbrock. On Sep 6, 1954, she married Robert J. Beining, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Richard "Dick" (Kathy) and Alan (Brenda), both Ottoville, and Charles (Michelle), Botkins; three daughters, Janelle Schroeder, Ottoville, Joyce (Randy) Shaw, Las Vegas, and Doris Beining, Indianapolis; a brother, Orville (Mary), Leipsic; thirteen grandchildren, Chad Beining, Michael Beining, Denise Dalicandro, Amy Beining, Jason Schroeder, Todd Schroeder, Melissa Schroeder, Rodney Schroeder, Jessica Beining, Adam Beining, Darby Shaw, Nicole Drage and Cory Bowman; and three great-grandchildren, Addison Beining, Cooper Beining and Nolan Schroeder.
Deceased are two brothers, Richard and Norman.
She was a homemaker and an interior designer. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville and its Altar Rosary Society. She was active in the church helping to count collections and leader for the exercise program. She volunteered at the Thrift Store, enjoyed being a winter Texan, assisted with activities at their park in Texas, was an avid card player, and enjoyed bingo and dancing with her husband.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, with Rev. John Stites, officiating.
