They had the following children: Anna Catharine Rieth/Reed; Mary Magdalena Rieth/Reed; Samuel Rieth/Reed; John George Rieth/Reed; Michael Rieth/Reed; Johannes Jr. Rieth/Reed; Heinrich H Rieth/Reed; Moses Rieth/Reed.


*Last name Rieth/Reed had a couple different spelling variations, when Johannes's great grandfather came here from Germany the last name was spelled Rieth, then over the years, it was then spelled Reed.*
