Mr. Rollan honorably served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War; his community, as a courageous firefighter with the Montgomery Fire Department; his family, as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother; and his Lord with faithfulness and dedication. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Neal Rollan; one sister, Cordelia Yancy, and special friend, Cary Harper.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Lois "Sue" Rollan; 2 sons, Keith )(Petina) Rollan and Gary Lynn Rollan; 3 grandchildren, Adam (Corrine) Rollan, Alisha Rollan, and Joshus Rollan; 2 brothers, Elza E. Rollan, Jr., and wife Norma, and Joe Gerson Rollan, and wife, Norma Jean; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
Active pallbearers will be Montgomery Fire Department Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces, nephews anbd Mike Grooms. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
