Rose Ella Wadley, 60, died Friday, February 22, 2008 at her home in Savannah. Mrs. Wadley was born in Hunter, OK, the daughter of the late Robert Warren and Eleanor Thompson Smith. She was employed by Savannah Labs for over ten years as an administrator. Rose had a love for tennis. She was a member of the USTA (United States Tennis Association) and played often at the Wilmington Island Club, where she was a member. She was of Catholic faith. Mrs. Wadley was preceded in death by her husband, Kent Wilson Wadley. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott Alan and Keeli Wadley of Rincon; grandchildren, Andrew and Benjamin Wadley; sister, Barbara Embres of New Mexico and brother, Robert Smith of Oklahoma. Memorial Service: 7:00 PM Monday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
