Mrs. Louise P. Carter, wife of Oren R. Carter, 524 South Elliott Street, died at 3:25 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Ball Memorial Hospital following a four-day illness. Mrs. Carter was the daughter of the late Peter Bott and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Funeral services are to be conducted at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Father Edgar Cyr officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. The body will be removed to the home from the Meeks Mortuary this evening.
Surviving besides the husband are four daughters, Thelma, Doris, Rita June, and Pauline Carter; a son, John Oren Carter; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Stopper and Mrs. Ida Coons, of Muncie, and Mrs. Eva Bott of Findlay, Ohio; and one brother, Carl Bott of Anderson.
