Albert Levy died Wednesday, 3 October 1962, at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, aged seventy-six years. "A native of St. Francisville, Louisiana," he had resided in Kenner and New Orleans for more than sixty years. His parents, Maurice Levy and Harriett Mann Levy, preceded him in death. Two sisters, Mrs. Louis Adiger and Mrs. Harry Belfor (Atlanta, Georgia), survived him. Services on Thursday, 4 October 1962, at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp funeral home (New Orleans) were followed by interment at St. Francisville, Louisiana.
