Bertha Kraus, 67, of 1233 6th ST NW, died Wednesday. Born Feb 7, 1902 at Middle Amana, she had been a resident of Cedar Rapids 50 years. She was married to Herman Kraus Aug 12, 1920 at Marion. She is survived by her husband; a son, Bernhardt Kraus of Cedar Rapids; 2 daughters, Mrs Harold Hill and Mrs William Finnigan, both of Cedar Rapids; 2 brothers, August Rothenbucher of Middle Amana and Carl Rothenbucher of Amity, Ore; a sister, Mrs William Moessner of Middle Amana; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Memorial services: 1 pm Friday at the Chapel of Memories by the Rev Mary White of the Bethany Congregational Church. Burial: Cedar Memorial Cemetery.
