Henry Grummer was born on a farm near Luzerne June 2 1857 and died in a Soiux City ,Iowa hospital following a operation on July 14 1916,age 59 yrs 1 mo. and 12 days. lthough all knew Mr Gummer had been afflicted for the last 15 months few knew of his removel to the hospital until the news of his deat5h reached here Friday evening. It was a surprise and a great shock to his many friends, The church was taxed to the full capacity Monday afternoon by friends who came to pay there last respects.The funeral was in charge of Rev. Schroeder abd internment in the Lutheran cem.at Luzerne.
He leaves behind a grief stricken Mother and his wife,4 sons4 grandchildren a sister and 2 brothers to morn the loss of a kind and loving son ,husband and father and brother
