Kenny Arlyn Roberts, 71, of Norman Park, died Monday, March 14, 2011, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, at Cool Springs Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery with Kent Hamilton, Andy Weeks, Jerry Searcy, Dug Schwalls, Del Schwalls and Jon Schwalls serving as pallbearers.
Born Nov. 12, 1939, in Norman Park, he was the son of the late Marie Baker Roberts and Oran Lemuel Roberts. He was a retired farmer and a member of Cool Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Pat" Wells Roberts of Norman Park; sons, Darin Roberts of Atlanta, Ga., and Arlyn Roberts of Valdosta, Ga.; daughters, Tonia McDermott and husband David of Warner Robins, Ga., Brandi Roberts of Warner Robins, Ga., and Payne Roberts of Valdosta, Ga.; brothers, Byron Roberts and wife Priscilla of Statesboro, Ga., and Joe Roberts and wife Carolyn of Norman Park; sisters, Jane Weeks of Norman Park, Wanda Hamilton-Tyler and husband Ed of Norman Park and Valda Mathis and husband Steve of Norman Park; and grandchildren, Tyler Roberts, Michael Ragan, Cole Roberts, Trevor Jackson, Brandon Jackson and Maci McDermott.
