She was born August 29, 1889, at Center Hill a daughter of Wilson and Mary (Crissman) Bowser.
A resident of the Kittanning area her entire life she was a member of Kittanning First Church of God and Women's Benefit Association of Kittanning.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Heckman, and two sons, Dwight Heckman and James Wilson Heckman.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde McGregor; a son, Charles Heckman of Philadelphia; two step sons, Frank McGregor of New Bethlehem and Clyde McGregor of Kittanning RD 2; four step-daughters, Mrs. Pearl Raber of Kittanning, Mrs. Verda Reesman of Rural Valley, Mrs. Grace Williams of Kittanning and Mrs. Ruth Nolf of Kittanning.
Also surviving are two brothers, Lee Bowser of Kelly Station and Audley Bowser of Kittanning RD 2; two sisters, Mrs. Violet Kamer of Tarentum and Mrs. Sarah Toy of Kittanning RD 4; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Bauer funeral home after 7 p.m. tonight. Family visitations will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Strater, pastor of Kittanning First Church of God, officiating.
Interment will be made in the Kittanning cemetery.
