Paul D. Dvorak, 30, of Clarkson, Nebraska, died Monday, March 14, 2011, in Clarkson.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 18, 2011, at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Clarkson. Father Tim Forget will celebrate the Mass and burial will be at Clarkson Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by VFW Cornhusker Post 6419. Visitation will be held on Thursday
from 4 PM to 7 PM at the church. There will be a Vigil Service at 7 PM Thursday at the church. Visitation will continue Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the church.
Paul was born February 18, 1981, in Schuyler, Nebraska, to Dennis and Rita (Svik) Dvorak. He attended Colfax County Dist 30 and then graduated from Clarkson High School in 1999. Paul enlisted in the Marines and served 4 years of active duty. While on active duty he served in Kosovo. After his active duty, he served in the reserves until he was honorably discharged on April 15, 2010. While in the reserves he served in Iraq and had attained the rank of staff sergeant. Paul had worked for BlueBird Nursery and for the past year had been a crop adjuster with RCIS insurance. His interests included landscaping, bowling, billiards, and doing numerous handyman projects around the farm. He was a life member of VFW Cornhusker Post 6419 and a member of Clarkson Fire and Rescue Squad.
