Ruth F. (Moffatt) Ripa, 83, of Rock Valley Road, died Feb. 14 at Riverdale Gardens Nursing Home. Born in Holyoke, the daughter of the late George and Emma (Heyne) Moffatt, Ruth graduated from South Hadley High School and attended Northampton Commercial School. Ruth worked at Holyoke Community College. She was the wife of the late Thomas Ripa. Ruth is survived by three sons, Thomas of Holyoke, William of Southbridge and David of Las Vegas, NV, two sisters Marion Federeci of Holyoke and Eleanor Conway of South Hadley, two grandchildren Lauren and Kelsea Ripa. The funeral was held Feb. 18 at the Ryder Funeral Home, with burial in Village Cemetery, both in South Hadley. Memorial contributions can be made to Loomis House, 298 Jarvis Ave., Holyoke, MA 01040.
