WILLIAM MORRETT
William Andy Morrett, son of George and Lois Morrett, was born April 21, 1950 at Corydon, Iowa and passed away at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa on September 13, 1969 at the age of 19 years, four months and 23 days.
He spent his entire life in Lucas County. He attended Chariton schools, graduating with the class of 1968.
Since graduation he has worked for Jeffries Construction and was on the job when the accident happened.
He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, George and Lois Morrett, four sisters: Mrs. Linda Horton, Derby, Iowa; Mrs. Evelyn Horton, Chariton, Iowa; Lois Jean and Cynthia; two brothers, Danny and James; two brothers-in-law, Charles and Roger Horton; two grandmothers, Mrs. Peco Morrett, Chariton and Mrs. Ina Ockerman, Corydon and a host of relatives and friends including one nephew and three nieces.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Pearl Sams at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 1969 at the Beardsley-Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was in the Chariton Cemetery.
