DEPARTMET MANAGER FOR RUEPING FIRM; CHURCH SERVICES
Richard Arthur Georg, 57, of 178 Bischoff St., manager of the standards department at the Fred Rueping Leather Co. and a past chairman of the Rueping Key Men’s Club, died unexpectedly at his home at 6:15 a.m. today.
He was born Aug. 31, 1909, in Fond du Lac, a son of Alex and Mary Georg. He married Elynore Gehde on July 3, 1935.
Mr. Georg, who was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society, is survived by his widow, three sons, Richard A. Jr, and Stephan, both of Fond du Lac, and David l, Evansville, ind.; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Fisher, Milwaukee, and Mary Ellen, at home, six grandchildren, five brothers, Elmer, Arnold, Carl and Edwin, all of the city, and William, Anaheim, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Lopischke, city, and Mrs. Margaret Krenn, Milwaukee. His parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. rites at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Rev. George Eilers will officiate. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral services for Richard Arthur Georg, who died Monday, were held at 10 a.m. today from the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church, Rev. Paul J. Wittemann officiating. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery. Pallbearers were Elmer Georg, Carl Georg, Edwin Georg, Arnold Georg, Walter Gehde and Conrad Betla.
