Edward, 90, Celina, formerly St. Marys, and Punta Gorda, FL, died 6:20 pm, at The Gardens.

He was a son to Ben and Maude Casad. In 1943, he married Virginia Axe, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are a son, Thomas (Paula), Celina; three granddaughters, one great granddaughter, and a great, great granddaughter.

Deceased are a son, Steven; a brother, Ben Jr.; and a sister, Georgiana Casad Carter.

He was a graduate of St. Marys High school and attended Wittenburg University. He was a retired engineer from Goodyear Tire and Rubber, St. Marys. He was owner of Ajax Machine and Welding, St. Marys. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Marys, a member of Masonic Lodge, a past commander of the Port Clinton Yacht Club, and a member of the United States Power Squadron, Lima.
