DIED AFTER LONG ILLNESS — Mrs. Josephine Abate, née Pecorino, died yesterday evening at 3:15 at the family residence in the east part of town. Mrs. Abate had been sick for a long time. She went to New Orleans about three weeks ago for treatment. Her death was caused by heart troubles and consumption. She leaves a husband and six children. The funeral was at 3 p. m. today.
