Susan Daigle Mathews passed away peacefully Monday, March 21, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the age of 66. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Mathews; four children, Laura Mathews McClain and husband Jim, Stephen Mathews and wife Amy Nybelski, Mark Mathews and wife Keri Giordano, and Mary Mathews McMinn and husband Wade Jr.; 10 grandchildren, Dillon, Mallory and Molly McClain, Patrick and Ellen Mathews, LeAnne and Chase Constantine, Wade III, Matthew and Macy McMinn; and brother, David L. Daigle and wife Lee. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Drexler J. Daigle and Byna Porche Daigle; and grandson, Nicholas Morris Mathews. Visitation at St. George Catholic Church, Baton Rouge, on Friday, March 25, from noon until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., presided over by the Rev. Jeff Bayhi and the Rev.
