Melissa "Missy" Marie Cramer, 44, of Findlay passed away at 3:00 PM. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. Missy was born on October 10, 1966, to Donald and Geraldine (Keelor) Swartzel in Dayton, OH. Missy married Curt M. Cramer on January 14, 1989, and he survives. Missy is also survived by her mother, Geraldine Abeln of Dayton; son, Zachary Cramer at home; daughter, Courtney (Wyatt) Elbin of Dayton, OH; two brothers: Jeffrey (Mary) Swartzel of Coldwater, OH and Rob (Darla) Swartzel of Xenia, OH; sister-in-law, Michelle (Greg) Williamson of McComb; brother-in-law, Kevin Cramer of Rawson; stepfather, Thomas Abeln of Dayton, OH; and father and mother-in-law, Michael (Jeanne) Cramer of Rawson. Missy was also preceded in death by her father, Donald Swartzel; paternal grandparents, Robert and Nettie Swartzel; and maternal grandparents, Kyle and Edna Keelor. Missy was a 1984 graduate of Fairmont High School, Dayton and a 1989 graduate of Bowling Green State University. Missy was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Benton Ridge, OH, where she volunteered in the nursery. She was a dance instructor for 20 years and Elementary School Aid for many years. Missy was a devoted wife, mother and teacher. Missy was also the hero and the heart of her family. Visitation will be from 1:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Burial will take place at 1:00 PM. on Sunday at Tawa Cemetery, on Co.Rd. 12 just South of Benton Ridge. A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Benton Ridge, OH with Pastor Kevin D. Pees officiating.
