A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center Friday, July 16, 2004. She was 46. Visiting at Greater Arlington Baptist Church from 8 a.m. Saturday until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Henry Lamb Jr. Interment in Stockade Cemetery . Survived by her father, Wallace Ricks; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jacqueline and Bobby Kent Sr., Doris and Edward Ausbon and Patrick and Jeremy Lacy; nieces and nephews, Bobby Jr. and wife Janice, Katrina and husband Troy, Stacie, Candra and Joshua; great-nieces and great-nephews, Gerald, Brewton and Troi Abrianna; aunt Hilda Tircuit; and uncle, Walter Ricks. Preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Tircuit Ricks; husband, Charles Walker; and grandparents. She was a 1976 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Castine III, Wendy, the staff at the Medical Oncology L.L.C., Feliciana Home Health, the 5th Floor Tower nurses and the emergency staff at Our Lady of the Lake. Desselle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
