SCOTT SR., ALFRED "DANNY"

An employee of the East Baton Rouge Parish Health Unit, he died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 49 and a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Capital Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Religious service at Greater Arlington Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Henry Lamb. Interment in Stockade Cemetery . Survived by his loving mother, Edna Scott, Baton Rouge; three daughters, Chiquita Evans, Patricia Scott and Precious Scott, all of Baton Rouge; two sons, Alfred Scott Jr., Baton Rouge, and Kenedrick Patterson, St. Gabriel; two sisters, Rossetta Williams, Baton Rouge, and Mary Ella Dunbar, Woodville, Miss.; four brothers, Darling Dickerson Sr. and Randolph Scott, both of Baton Rouge, David Scott of Ethel and Cain Scott of Washington, D.C.; and five grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, Cain Scott Sr.; and two nephews, David Dickerson and Eugene Byrd. He was a 1971 graduate of McKinley Senior High School and a member and usher of Greater Arlington Baptist Church.
