Louis Buechner, 64, Waunakee, Dies
WAUNAKEE-Louis Buechner, 64, Route 1, Waunakee, died suddenly in his home Friday. Born in the town of Springfield, Mr. Buchner was a lifelong area resident. He was a member of St. Joseph's Society and the Holy Name Society of St. Martin's church, Martinsville. Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Willis Schneider, New Glarus; Mrs. James Stronach, Windsor; Mrs. Clayton Grosse, Route 2, Madison, and Mrs. Leander Grosse, Route 1, Waunakee; four sons, Pfc. Norbert Buechner, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Ludwig, Leo, and Leonard, at home; five sisters, Mrs. John B. Hillenbrand and Mrs. Regina Niesen, both of Cross Plains; Mrs. Mary Welker, Union Grove, and Sister M. Zitana O.S.F. and Sister M. Agatha O.S.F., both of Campbellsport; two brothers, Michael, Martinsville, and Carl, Cross Plains, and 12 grandchildren. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Schwab funeral home, Waunakee, where the rosary will be recited at 8:15 p.m. Sunday by the St. Joseph's and Holy Name Societies.
