Rose M. Klinger, Mosinee, died Mar 18, 2011, at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
She was born Mar 31, 1916, in Marathon, the daughter of the late Albert and Christine (Heil) Muelbeck. She married Frank Klinger on Oct 22, 1935, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marathon. He died Oct 26, 1991.
In their younger years, Rose worked with her husband in several cheese factories and on their farm. After selling the farm, she worked at Marathon Cheese.
Rose enjoyed time with her family and friends, especially playing sheepshead and fishing on Crescent Lake.
Survivors include her son, Gerald (Phyllis) Klinger, Rhinelander; four grandsons, Scott Klinger, Mosinee, Rodney (Helen) Mohr, Marathon, Barry (Wendy) Mohr, Eagle River, and Douglas (Trish) Mohr, Edgar; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and two sisters, Ann Gooding, Spokane, WA, and Christine Lemmer, Mosinee.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vivian Mohr; a granddaughter, Kathleen (Klinger) Maguire, in 2004; a brother, Leo Muelbeck; and her sisters, Betty Parsch, Marie Bielke, Catherine Kluender, and infant sisters, Rose and Theresa Muelbeck.
