GERALD AND MARGARET (ARENS) LAMMERS
Gerald I. Lammers, son of Frank and Anna (Willenbring) Lammers was born September 16, 1913 and died October 20, 1989. Gerald married Margaret Arens on February 20, 1936. She was born January 23, 1913.
They lived three miles south and one mile west of Fordyce. They farmed and raised livestock.
They had one child: Bernadette was born June 17, 1937 and died October 13, 2002. Bernadette went to school in Fordyce. She never married and lived and helped on the farm until the mid 1970's when all three moved to Hartington, Nebraska. Margaret moved to the Golden Living Center in Hartington in 2007 and resides there today. In 2008, she is 95 years old and still quite active.
