Annie Catherine Cartwright Pike was the daughter of Reddick Jasper Cartwright and Sarah Elizabeth Riggins. She was born in Dayton, Butte, California on Sept 21, 1869. Her parents were Pioners and came across the plains, from Hutton, Coles, Illinois in covered wagon, spending time in California and Arizona while engaged in ranching and farming.

Annie married John Milburn Pike in Phoenix, Arizona on May 8, 1889. They were cattle ranchers and also raised a large family together. Annie lived to be 104 years old.
