Agnes E. Nowak was born on 15 April 1894 in Morrison County, Minnesota, the seventh of twelve children of Polish-German immigrants, Michael Nowak (1845-1919) and Johanna Werbel Nowak (1862-1954). She married William Harold Jones (1902-1992) on 31 August 1929 in Minneapolis, MN. They had four children: William (1930-1972), Marjorie (b.1931), Richard H. (1934-2008) and Virginia (b.1937). They resided in Minneapolis all their lives together. She died 29 June 1972 in Minneapolis at the age of 78, and was buried at Sunset Memorial Garden. Harold was buried next to her 20 years later.
