Keller Logan Owen was granted angel wings on March 12, 2011 from a cardiorespiratory attack resultant from RSV and influenza.

Keller was born April 16, 2008 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colo. While granted only three years with Keller, he touched an incredible number of people with his bright eyes, wild hair, and infectious, charming personality.

He loved animals, reading books, playing outside, riding in his wagon, his nanny, Reandra, and his baby sister, Presley. She was a true love in his life and we will miss seeing them grow up together. He woke early and took short naps; never wanting to miss anything. He was able to enjoy many activities - Shake, Rattle, and Roll (with fabulous teacher, Saja Butler), skiing, swimming, school, the Farm, the zoo, and many trips to Alaska and Montana.

Keller leaves many wonderful people who loved him very much. He is survived by his parents, Nicole and Brandon Owen of Fort Collins; sister Presley Owen; beloved dogs, Beasley and Brinkley; amazing nanny, Reandra Friesen of Fort Collins; paternal Nana and Papa Kendra and Arnie Owen of Great Falls, Mont.; paternal great grandparents Frankie and Wally Eagle of West Yellowstone, Mont.; maternal Nana and Papa Denise and Jon Huf of Windsor, Colo. and Anchorage, Alaska; uncles Dustin and Cody Huf of Anchorage, Alaska, and uncle and aunt Ryan and Melanie Owen of Alamogordo, N.M. We also extend love to his pediatrician, Dr. Max, and all caregivers at Presbyterian St. Luke's hospital, who cared for him in his final days.

A final gift Keller made was donating his organs. Keller has saved at least five lives via the donation of his kidneys, heart valves, and liver.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Dick and Irene Owen and maternal great grandparents, Leonard and Anita Michels. He had the pleasure of knowing all of them. His great grandmother, Anita, passed away in Alaska only hours before Keller. We are comforted they are able to take this journey together.
