Karin J. Hamann, 48, of Mountain Home, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2010, at a Boise hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 22, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, at Adrian's Club.
Karin was born on June 6, 1961, in Alpena, Mich., the daughter of Loren and Ruth Hamann. She was raised and school in Alpena, and graduated from Alpena High School. She moved to Mountain Home in 1981.
Karin worked at Paul's as a deli manager. She loved cooking for large groups of people. She also enjoyed camping, being in the outdoors and taking care of her flower garden. She was a prankster.
Karin is survived by her fiancé, Terry Anderson, of Mountain Home, her mother, Ruth Hamann, her brothers, Dave and his wife, Dee, Mark and his wife, Tina, and Brian and his wife, Gail, all of Michigan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Loren, and her grandparents.
