Services for former Liverpool resident Michael S. Sokolowski, 21, who died Sunday in Atlanta, Ga., will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Maurer Funeral Home, Liverpool. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 300 Second St.
Mr. Sokolowski died from injuries suffered in a pickup truck accident in Atlanta.
A native of Liverpool, Mr. Sokolowski moved to Georgia three years ago, where he lived in Stone Mountain. He was a carpenter with Remodeling Atlanta in Atlanta. He attended Liverpool High School.
Surviving are his father, Richard L. Sokolowski Sr. of Liverpool; a brother, Richard L. Jr. of Norcross, Ga.; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Cutter of Sanford, N.C.; his paternal grandmother, Nancy Sokolowski of Baldwinsville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
