Princeville, Dec. 26.—Henry Wieland, 89, of Princeville, a retired farmer, died early Saturday at the home of his son, Walter Wieland, with whom he resided.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bouton Memorial Home, Princeville, and at Apostolic Christian Church. Burial will be in Streitmatter Cemetery. Friends may call at the memorial home after 4 p.m. Monday.
Born in Germany, Feb. 3, 1865, he was the son of Frederick and Gottliebe Herman Wieland. He was married to Katherine Streitmatter in 1892. She died in April, 1931.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ida Huber, Princeville; and Mrs. Katherine Baer of Dunlap; three sons, Fred Wieland of Peoria; and Henry Wieland and Walter Wieland, both of Princeville; 14 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
One son, Louis Wieland, died in October, 1953. Three children died in infancy.
