At least the first four above were born in Illinois. It is not evident when the last three were born and where. They were not present in 1880.

(Mariea's obit states that husband John died on 2 Jan 1881 but other info suggests that they divorced and that he remarried and died in 1904.)

Obit:

Mariea Cathrenina Sinn was born in Langwadle, Holstien, Germany, April 19, 1835. Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Anna Willard (Alexandria, Thayer, Nebraska) on Dec 20 1920, at age 85 yr 8 mo 1 da.

She came to Americh, Moline, Ill. in 1865 and in 1867 married John Henry Nachtigall. To this union were born 7 children; Henry, Lena, Anna, and Elsie. Willie Augusta and an infant preceeded her. In April 1875 the family came to Alexandria, Nebr. where she has lived ever since her husband died Jan. 2, 1881 at the age of 46 yr. 5 mo. She managed the farm with the remaining four children until Oct 11, 1884 when she was married to Conrad Lang who died in the fall of 1890. She continued to live on the farm until the last 8 years, during which time she resided with her daughter Mrs. Anna Willard, Alexandria, Nebr. Besides these, those left to mourn, one brother, Jurgen Sinn, ten grandchildren, John Lewis, George, Gladys and Agnes Nachtigall, Roy, Herbert and Esther Marsh and Mable Willard now Mrs. John Sherwood.

She was confirmed in the German Lutheran church when she was a girl and has followed the teachings of Christ all her life. Funeral services were held in the M. E. Church Wednesday, Rev,. Jersten and Rev, Butter officiating. The remains were followed by a large concourse of relatives and friends where she was laid to rest in the family lot in the Alexandria cemetery.
