Contrary to the obituary, he died at Waverly Hills Sanitorium of tuberculosis

Martin M. Stich, 41, a carpenter, died at 10:40 AM Tuesday at his home, 3806 Warner Avenue, Saint Matthews. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Cecelia Kirchner Stich; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Dillman and Miss Cecilia Stich; five brothers, Lawrence J. Stich, George Stich, Anthony F. Stich, Herman J. Stich, and Theodore J. Stich.

Funeral services will be held at 8:45 AM Friday at Ratterman’s Saint Matthews Chapel and at 9AM at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be in Saint Michael Cemetery.
