Carrie (Pat) Holland-Kirk, 88, passed away on April 12, 2011. She was born on December 24, 1922 to Samuel Wayne Largent and Dora Adams. She moved from Lufkin, Texas at the age of 14 to Corpus Christi, Texas. She and her belated husband Bill Holland owned and operated Holland Furniture Company. She loved to dance, enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and listening to piano music.
She will always be remembered for her beauty inside and out. Her loving devotion to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband William A. Holland, her parents Samuel Largent and Dora Adams. Brother Vernon Largent, Sisters Polly Cotton-Meadows, Ruth Hurtig, and Gladis Largent.
Pat is survived by her sons William (Billy) Holland (Yvonne) and Samuel W. Holland (Diane), Grandchildren Robin Holland Myers (John), Tami Holland, Tina Holland Smith (Keith), Samuel (Bubba) Holland (Laura) and eight great grand children and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Seaside Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011.
Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
