Born Aug. 10, 1908 in Middletown, he was the son of George and Mary Moehn Moehlman. He married Gladys McDonald June 29, 1945 in Danville.
He was a 1925 graduate of Danville High School and attended Fort Madison Business College. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Danville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Leland Moehlman of St. Louis, Mo; one step-daughter, Sandra Marcelle Watson of Kirksville, Mo; two brothers, Harlan Moehlman of Greenville, Texas, and Robert Moehlman of Burlington; one sister, Viola Dockendorff of DeWitt; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, four sisters and a son.
The family will receive friends Sunday at Elliott Chapel in New London. The funeral for Mr. Moehlman will be Monday at the Danville United Methodist Church with the Revs. Gerald Allsup and Gordon McMillan officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery, Danville.
