Kallie Mae Aljets, 3 and her twin sister Kirsten Faye were born on May 7, 1995 at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to parents Troy and Gayla Aljets of Brewster, Minnesota. Kallie died on January 6, 1999 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Kallie is survived by her parents: twin sister, Kirsten: maternal grandparents, Gary and Velma Cortright of Worthington, Minnesota: paternal grandparents, Dean and Barb Christensen of Albert City, Iowa: four aunts, Kristie and her husband Todd Kruckman and their son Brady of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Kimberly and her husband Larry Arbaugh of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Tracy Aljets of Altamonte Springs, Florida and Randi Christiansen of Albert City, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Dennis Aljets and her uncle, Vincent Cortright.
Funeral services held on Saturday, January 9, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ocheyedan, Iowa, with Rev. Robert Trueblood officiating. Honorary bearers are Todd Kruckman, Larry Arbaugh, Eric Harms and Scott Lee. Active bearers are Alan Vis, Loren Redfield, Brad Wehr and Mark Kruger. Poem ready by Kallie's mother. Burial in the Ocheyedan Township cemetery.
