Lola was born in Elvins, Mo. March 1, 1928, a daughter of the late Bessie (Queen) and Henry Brown.
On June 28, 1947, she was united in marriage to George B. Briggs in St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her husband George; granddaughter, Kim Miller; and sisters, Lucille Hite, Loraine Wood and Lela Butts.
Her survivors include daughters, Sandra Idel and husband Charles of Rosebud and Sharon Hibler of Greenville, Ill.; sister, Rowena Simmons and husband Gayle of Farmington; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her body was cremated and services are private.
Arrangements were under the direction of Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville.
