Norman Charles Hodgson, 64 years old, of Albuquerque, and 23 year resident of Kirkland, AZ, died May 27, 2002 in his home. He is survived by his children, Kathy Rodriguez and husband, Mike of Oregon, Jennise McCain of California, William McCain of Oregon, and Sandra McCain of California; grandchildren, Jeremy Foster, Jennifer Holder and Andrew Rodriguez, all of Oregon, Christine Agualo and husband, Matthew, Daniel Moeck and David Moeck, Randy McCain and Kimberly Kennedy, all of California; four great-grandchildren, Kayla Holder and Hope Foster of Oregon, Meliah Agualo and Matthew Agualo Jr. of California; sisters, Joyce Hodgson, Lorraine Patton, both of New Mexico, Dorothy Pauls of Arizona, Elizabeth (Billie) Harrison and Yvonne Jeffrey, both of New Mexico. Norman also had about 30 nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by his parents Roy Hodgson and Pearl Supulver; four brothers, Lee I. Hodgson, Lester B. Hodgson, Melvin J. Hodgson and Raymond C. Hodgson. Norman served in the USN from February 1, 1958 to May 01, 1987. He retired after 30 years of Active & Inactive service at the rank of Chief, stationed @ NAF El Centro California. He served on the USS Kearsarge, Bennington, Helantisubron TEN, Patrol Squadron ONE, as well as two terms in Vietnam.
