Funeral services were held Saturday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Congregational Church in Follett with Rev. Woodrow Weidner officiating. Burial was to be in Fairview Cemetery in Lipscomb County, under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
She was born October 10, 1914 in Arnett, Oklahoma, and was a long-time resident of the area. She married Sam SCHEER on June 1, 1939 in Follett. He died in 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John's Congregational Church.
She is survived by one son, Jim SCHEER, of Follett; one daughter, Lois LAUBHAN, of Canadian; two sisters, Lillie YAUCK and Lena YAUCK, both of Follett; two brothers, Henry YAUCK and G. F. YAUCK, both of Follett; and four grandchildren.
