Daughter of Christian Olson and Anna Gurene Olson. Little sister of Carl Olaves and David Martinius Olson.
She is believed to have been born in Racine, Wisconsin. Her father had drowned at sea in 1874 and mother Anna decided to move with her two boys to Wisconsin to be near her sister. Clara would have been born on the way , as she passed through Racine.
She died at age 2, and family stories passed down state that she was hit by lightening as she drank from a water dipper.
