Curtis L Huckfeldt, age 85, of Holstein, died Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the Kenesaw Haven Home. Services were held Monday, January 31, 2005 at the St Paul Lutheran Church in Holstein with the Reverend Harold King officiating. Burial was in The St Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Curtis was born October 22, 1919 in Holstein to Herman and Anna (Winter) Huckfeldt. He attended Holstein Parochial School through the seventh grade and Zion Wanda for the eighth grade.
On November 21, 1945, Curtis married Mildred Delatour. The couple later divorced.
Mr Huckfeldt worked for Idaho Parks in Twin Falls, Idaho, and later moved back to Holstein. Due to his health, Curtis moved to the Haven Home in Kenesaw in October of 2000.
He was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Holstein.
Survivors include two daughters, Monia Biehn of Boulder, Colorado and Midge Hansen of Ogallala; one son, Steve Huckfeldt of Morrill; one sister Marvel Plambeck of Holstein; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, seven sisters and one granddaughter, Kim.
