BEAVERDAM - Walter W. Amstutz, 63, Richland Twp., died at his home at 2 p.m. Saturday following a heart attack.
Born in Richland Twp., May 28, 1895, he was a retired farmer and was formerly owner of the Federal Bakery in Lima.
Mr. Amstutz was a member of the Beaverdam Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Waif Amstutz; his mother, Mrs. Rosa Amstutz, Beaverdam; one son, Roger B. Amstutz, Seattle, Wash.; four daughters, Mrs. Coleta Gierhart, Cleveland, Mrs. Betty Arnold, Elida; Mrs. Gloria Huston, Lima, and Mrs. Judith Maszaros, Toledo; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Warner, Beaverdam; and two brothers, Carl L. Amstutz, Bluffton and Harold J. Amstutz, Akron.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Paul Diller Funeral Home in Bluffton with Rev. Oscar Burdett officiating.
Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.
