Your Sea

I've cried a thousand tears tonight,
Enough to fill the sea
As you left this world far too soon,
I feel a fraction of what was me

Growing up you were my light
In every darkened sky
And I haven't seen the sun in days
Despite how hard I try

The waves that crash, they hit me hard
So very close to shore
And every second that passes by,
Leaves me waiting just one day more

I look for you in every glance
hoping to see your face
But trust in God that he has your hand,
And fills you with his purest grace

And while those waves will never stop,
The further out they'll get
And soon my sun will rise again,
And I know I'll see you when it sets

I cried a thousand tears last night,
Enough to fill your sea
And today we celebrate your life,
In this place you left for me

I miss you Arn, and love you more then
I could show or say and hope you know this,
As you look upon me, each and every day.
