Catherine A. Blessing Mazzoni, 92, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011, at her residence. She was the loving wife of Robert J. Mazzoni. They were married for 70 years on April 19, 2011. Catherine was born in Lebanon, on January 22, 1919. She was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Ruhl) Blessing. Catherine was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, Robert, are two children, Janet Mazzoni Binner, wife of the late Thomas Binner, and Robert J. Mazzoni, Jr., husband of Rhonda Sonni Mazzoni; four grandchildren, Michael Binner, Jennifer Mazzoni Duckart, Kara Mazzoni Reed, and Robert Mazzoni; six great-grandchildren, Julia Binner, Thomas Binner, Cade Reed, Maya Reed, Della Reed, and Jack Reed; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, 2596 Cornwall Road, Cornwall 17016. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. The family will have a visitation Tuesday morning 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church; or the Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice Program, 202 Hathaway Park, Lebanon, PA 17042.
