Aug. 22, 1974 - April 25, 2011 MISHAWAKA - Carl (Trippel) Armentrout, 36, of Mishawaka, passed away early Monday morning, April 25, 2011, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend Carl was born August 22, 1974, in South Bend. He grew up in Mishawaka and was a student for many years at South Bend schools. He also attended the Day Program at the Logan Center. Carl was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka. He enjoyed going to South Bend Silver Hawks baseball games and listening to music. Carl brought great joy to the Trippel family and all who knew him. Carl's surviving family includes his parents, Paul and Phyllis Trippel; five brothers, Charles (Julie) Trippel, David (Shawn) Trippel, Andrew Trippel, Daniel Trippel and Gregory (Kimberly) Trippel; a niece, Kara Trippel; and three nephews, Matthew, Kevin and Lance Trippel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Mill Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Terry Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Visitation for family and friends is in the church Friday from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Memorials are suggested to Chiara Home, 1425 Clayton Drive, South Bend, IN 46614. Arrangements are in the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. 3rd Street, Mishawaka. Carl's family would like to give special thanks to Dr. George Horvath, M.D., and Dr. M. Gilbert Eberhardt, D.D.S., for the wonderful care they have shown Carl.
