The funeral services of John Kimbel, aged 71, was held at the M.E. church in this village (Leonidas) Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Teuch. Mr. Kimbel was a carpenter by trade, a kind neighbor and highly respected, was well known, having lived in this township for several years. A wife, nine children and several grandchildren survive, and mourn for a faithful husband and a loving father has been taken from them. God knoweth best and he doeth all things, well.
Based on son's name given as "Wesley John", versus "John Wesley", and no use of a suffix found on either's records, I've removed the "Sr" from this memorial.
