Meyer, Dorothy Brockmeyer (known as Dot), 94, of St. Louis, (South County), passed away on April 28, 2011. Dorothy was born August 17, 1916 near Custer, Montana. She attended Roosevelt High School, graduating class of 1932 at the age of 16. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugene Thomas Brockmeyer and Emily Frank, and her husband Ferdinand William Meyer, whom she married February 22, 1941. She is survived by a brother, Richard T. Brockmeyer; two daughters, Marilyn Johnson (Robert) of Burr Oak, KS and Christine May (Jack) of Williamson, NY; and two sons, Larry W. and Richard T. (Linda) both of St. Louis, MO. She had five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a devoted member of Most Precious Blood Parish in South County, where she faithfully led the Rosary before daily Mass for over 40 years. She was a long time active member in the Cardinal Mindszenty Foundation. Services: The family will greet visitors Sunday, May 1, 3-9 p.m. at KUTIS Chapel, 10151 Gravois, AFFTON. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 2 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 8300 Morganford Rd., St. Louis. Rosary at 9 a.m. Interment National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Cardinal Mindszenty Foundation, P.O. Box 11321, St. Louis, MO 63105.
