Mr. Juers was born May 31st, 1945 in Red Wing to Norman and Marjorie (Thomforde)Juers. He graduated from Lake City High School in 1963. In 1968 he join the Army Reserves and served until 1971. He farmed with his brother and his father on the Juers Family Farms until his father retired in 1975. He then continued farming with his brother and nephews Nathan & Jason. He was a member of St Peter's Belvidere Lutheran Church.
David is survived by one brother, Bryan (Charlene) Juers of Lake City, one sister, Juanita Dyson of San Louis Obispo, CA, and six nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Joyce Schmidt.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at St. Peter's Belvidere Lutheran Church with the Reverend Scott Fieg officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church.
